K'Andre miller received a match penalty and was ejected for spitting at an opponent during last night's game versus the L. A. Kings. it's unclear what led to drew doughty spitting in his face. but it was an easy call to eject him and obviously something the nhl will not tolerate. miller claimed the spit was an accident after the game. he faces at least a 3-game suspension. a precedent that was established in 2019.
