Founded in 2008, by the Roofball Federation of America, the main objective of roofball is to "throw the ball and hit the big pole that's up on the roof. " Every year the roofball season kicks off at Willis park, which is the nickname one roofball founder gave to his house. roofballers can earn points by hitting the pole and catching the ball before it touches the ground. what happens when you hit the pole?. what happens when you catch the ball before it hits the ground?. if a ball is thrown over the roof you lose five points. And if you throw the ball around the pole you earn 10 points. If you hit the smaller pole the higher roof you earn five extra catch points. a single throw will earn 15 points.
