your brain switches to autopilot when you talk on the phone. everything else is blocked while speaking with the person on the other end. our subconscious is always doing something - whether it's walking from room to room or playing with a pencil for the duration of the call. in a recent viral video one office employee wanted to test this theory on their coworkers and colleagues. in the following moments there was laughter and laughter. even though our brains are fully focused on the phone call our subconscious is not focused on the phone call. when they are on the phone these employees literally accept whatever is handed to them. this includes everything from rotten plants to screwdrivers. what's the limit to what you can hand people on a call? a snake? a bag of weed?.
